The Parish Council is responsible for:

the upkeep of the village street lighting

the play area / grounds at the Village Hall

farmers and village allotments

commenting on planning applications

the village notice boards

general maintenance around the village

defibrillators in the village
The Village of Hevingham
Hevingham is a village and civil parish in Norfolk.
It falls within the auspices of Broadland District Council.
Hevingham PC
The Parish Council is made up of members who all live in
the village and represent the village on various matters.
We are effectively the third tier of local government,
the other two being Norfolk County Council and
Broadland District Council.

This will be held in 'the best room’ of the Village Hall and begins at 7:30pm (for directions see map below).
Vacancy
EVER CONSIDERED BEING A PARISH COUNCILLOR?
The Parish Council currently have a vacancy following the resignation of Mrs C Alpe and are looking to co-opt someone to replace her at their next meeting on the 1st September.
If you are interested in joining the Council, feel free to speak to any current Councillors to find out what is involved or email the Clerk: clerk@hevinghamparishcouncil.gov.uk.
